Two-step login and front-desk PINs

Turn on two-step login

Two-step login asks for a 6-digit code from an app on your phone as well as your password, so nobody else can get in even if they learn your password.

1. 1Install an authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
2. 2Go to Settings → My account and find Two-step login.
3. 3Scan the QR code with the app (or type the key under Can't scan?).
4. 4Type the Code from the app and press Turn on.
5. 5Save the 10 recovery codes somewhere safe with Copy codes or Print. Each one works once if you lose your phone.

A team member lost their phone? The owner or an admin can open their page under Team and press Turn off two-step login. They're emailed when this happens.

Front-desk PINs

On a shared iPad or computer, each person can sign in with their own 4-digit PIN instead of typing their email and password.

1. 1The owner or an admin opens Team → Team members on the shared device and presses Make this device the front desk.
2. 2Each person sets their PIN under Settings → My account → Front-desk PIN, confirming with their password.
3. 3On the front desk, the login page shows Front desk: sign in with your PIN. Tap your name and type your PIN.

Everyone signs in as themselves, so sales show the right name. Press Lock when you step away; it also locks itself after 5 minutes. A PIN only works on that salon's front-desk device.
