Store credit and loyalty points

Store credit

• To give credit (for example goodwill for a redo), open the client and use Add or take away credit, with a note. This needs Refunds access.
• A refund can go back As store credit instead of cash or card.
• At checkout, a client with credit gets a Store credit payment button.
• Paying with credit isn't counted as new money in, because it isn't.

Loyalty points

1. 1Go to Settings → Checkout → Loyalty points and tick Clients earn points when they pay.
2. 2Set Points per $1 and how many Points to use for how much $ off (for example 100 points = $10 off). The page shows what that gives back as a %.
3. 3Press Save.

Clients earn points on what they pay at checkout (not tips or gift cards), as long as they're on the sale. At checkout, choosing the client shows their points and a Use button. Their balance is on their client page.

Undoing a checkout takes back the points it earned and returns any it used.
