Products and stock

Products need the Retail and Shop app: Settings → Apps. Then go to Catalogue → Products and stock.

Add a product

1. 1In Add a product, type the Name, Brand and Price ($). Add the Cost ($) if you want profit in reports.
2. 2Type how many you have in Stock now.
3. 3Set Low at: when stock gets down to this number, it's marked Low.
4. 4Set Order up to if you like: the level you restock to, so Eyroxis can tell you how many to order.
5. 5Choose Used for: Retail (sold to clients) or Professional (not sold) for back-bar stock you use in services.
6. 6Press Add product.

Keep stock right

• Stock comes off automatically when you sell a product at checkout, and goes back with a refund (when you tick to put it back) or an undone checkout.
• When a delivery arrives, open the product, choose Received, type how many and press Update.
• After a stocktake, choose Counted (set to) and type what's on the shelf. The difference is recorded.
• Each product's History shows what was sold, received and counted.

Low stock

Low products show on your Home page. To get an email too, tick Email me when a product runs low under Settings → Checkout. Reports → Stock on hand has a To order column for products with Order up to set.

With several locations, stock is counted separately at each one. Untick Count stock for this product for things you don't count. Untick Available to sell to hide a product you no longer stock.
