Delete a client's details

Under Australian privacy law, clients can ask you to delete their details. Only the owner or an admin can do this.

1. 1Cancel any appointments they still have coming up. You can't delete a client with upcoming bookings.
2. 2Open the client. At the bottom right, find Delete client.
3. 3Tick Yes, permanently delete and press Delete client.

What's removed and what stays

• Removed: name (it becomes "Deleted client"), email, mobile, notes, alert, birthday, tags, consultation forms and signatures, photos and files, booking answers, review comments, store credit, loyalty points and their waitlist entries.
• Kept: their past visits and sales, so your takings and reports stay right. Star ratings stay without the comment.

This can't be undone. If you'd rather keep a regular's details even after years without a visit, press Keep details under Long-term details on their page. How long details are kept is set under Settings → Your data.
