Rooms and equipment (Resources)

Needs the Resources app: Settings → Apps ($19 a month per location). Useful when services share something there's only so many of: a massage needs a treatment room, a laser treatment needs the laser machine.

1. 1Go to Settings → Resources and add each room, chair or machine. Give it a name ("Treatment room 1") and a kind ("Treatment room"). With several locations, choose where it is.
2. 2Put them in order with ↑ and ↓: each booking gets the first free one, so put the one you use most at the top.
3. 3Open a service in the catalogue and tick what it needs under Needs a resource, then Save.
4. 4Done. Online booking only offers times when one of each is free, and each appointment shows the room or machine it has.

When you book from the calendar and nothing is free, Eyroxis says so and you can choose Book anyway. Moving a visit keeps its room if it's free at the new time. To stop using a resource for a while (e.g. a machine in for repair), choose Take out of use: bookings it already has keep it.
